Your dentist's office must make your appointment from my website before the process can begin. 

Once your appointment is made I will email you links to three forms, Patient Registration, Patient Medical History and Patient Insurance & Payment Information,  that must be filled out online. Once that is complete I will email you a packet containing your Anesthesia Fee Estimate, Consent Form, and Pre-Op & Post-Op Instructions. We will correspond as necessary to answer your questions. 

First we will do a brief pre-op interview and I will obtain vital signs in the dental chair. 

For adults, I will start an IV, for children I will either give an injection or give them gas through a mask to make them fall asleep before starting the IV.  For patients with special needs, the induction may vary depending on their specific condition.

All patients will be given medications to maintain general anesthesia.  Patients will be unconscious until the procedure is completely over and will be allowed to wake up and go home with an adult. I will contact you later to see how you're feeling and answer any questions you may have.
